My Profile

A little something about the Artist.

I was born and raised in Missoula, MT with a passion for art for as long as I can remember. I’m studied are for many years at the University of Montana and will graduate with a B.F.A with an emphasis in painting spring 2020. I plan to attend Grad school to further my research and hopefully one day be a professor of the arts. I so far have had over 40 exhibitions. My first show was at the age of 15 at a local business downtown Missoula. I have been commissioned to do a 70-foot mural for suicide awareness and I also have sold works to the permanent collection of the College of Humanities and Sciences.

My work explores the effects of the world and the people who control it on the innocent and unaware. My current works focus on the adverse effects of human manipulation of resources and nature as entertainment. I hope to further this exploration in future works. I have suffered from severe mental illness my whole life and it is always expressed in my artwork but mostly through sign and subliminal messaging as it is in real life, hidden. I Purposefully use bold bright color to mask the dark humor that lies beneath the surface.
